what measurement do you guys use??? Also are the coated bearings like VAC sells worth it???

Just for reference I rebuilt my 82K miles S52 motor with all new bearing and forged internals. Everything looked great with only signs of normal bearing wear.
I used the Plasti-gauge to check my crank bearings just caz I had never tried the stuff and did not even bother with the rods since I had new forged rods and new bearings which are relatively inexpensive when your that deep in the engine.

I had put new bearings but just wanted to check them....
