Anybody in town have a fender rolling tool that I could rent? I really only need it for an hour or two if you are local. Bought new rims and I am going to have to pull my rear fenders.
Thanks!
Thanks!

JBgotM 09-18-2007, 04:18 PM I have a nice roller, but I am pretty far away. Digitalwave 09-18-2007, 05:23 PM Damn, if Jax were only an hour or two closer.... m3j0n 09-18-2007, 11:44 PM TJ, i believe brandon "cosmos95m3" (or something like that) works right near you and does that kind of work. I was thinking about going up there myself to have him do my car in the near future. Let me know what you find out. Digitalwave 09-18-2007, 11:53 PM Thanks for the lead Jon, I will let you know when I hear back from him. Digitalwave 09-19-2007, 07:40 PM Haven't heard back from anyone :( m3j0n 09-20-2007, 12:45 AM Haven't heard back from anyone :( hes a busy guy.. he generally takes a couple days to respond. jsut to be sure, youre PMing "cosmos95m3", right? I have his cell number if you hit me up over AIM, ill give it to you. He seems like an awesome guy :buttrock -Jon Digitalwave 09-20-2007, 08:21 AM Yeah, the guy in Stuart right? I wouldn't feel right calling his cell. 325i Vert 09-20-2007, 09:17 AM There is a guy in Atlanta that can ship one to you TJ, if you cant find one local. I have rented it from him 4 or 5 times. Reasonable price as well. His username is CDM5GO. David is his name. Josh K Digitalwave 09-20-2007, 10:00 AM Thanks for the heads up Josh. What are you doing in the FL forum anyways? :) ///Mpmp1025 09-20-2007, 01:11 PM im in the market for this as well. if u end up renting the tool from the ATL i would be willing to split the rental cost w/u if i can use it after u use it. if u need a second person to help lower the cost, im more than willing. thanks dave /subscribed m3j0n 09-20-2007, 03:31 PM ill jump in on that if you guys know how to do it without cracking the paint... 325i Vert 09-20-2007, 04:42 PM Thanks for the heads up Josh. What are you doing in the FL forum anyways? Ha. I saw your username and you were looking for a roller, so I posted up. Im pretty sure David rents the tool 1 week at a time for one price. I usualy post up when I get the tool and have a "fender rolling party". Equals out to be about $5 bucks per person after its all said and done. Josh K m3j0n 09-21-2007, 01:15 AM lets do it! Digitalwave 09-21-2007, 08:28 AM Cosmos doesn't do fender rolling. There is a guy in Coral Springs that rents his tool for $50. But I haven't heard back from him since the first PM he got to me on last Monday. Hopefully he comes through. My rims will be here on Monday. ///Mpmp1025 09-22-2007, 12:58 AM whatever happens im in, just shoot me a PM. jiggerjosh 09-22-2007, 02:01 AM ill jump in on that if you guys know how to do it without cracking the paint... Count me in too, My rear tires are slowly rubbing away. I know the method to not cracking the paint, it involves a little heat. We can try it on my car first idc. Digitalwave 09-22-2007, 10:06 AM I think I already have a group of friends together to split the costs, but if you guys want I can refer you to who I am renting the tool from once I am done with it. Solo 09-22-2007, 11:06 AM gee nice offer Digitalwave 09-22-2007, 11:11 AM What offer? You aren't even local. Nowhere in this thread did I say anything about getting a fender rolling meet together - I was just asking where I could rent/borrow one. ///Mpmp1025 09-22-2007, 11:29 AM can u post the contact info? Solo 09-22-2007, 09:35 PM nowhere in this post did he promise to post a contact number. m3j0n 09-24-2007, 02:46 PM it would have been cool to include some of the other local members in this get-together (especially those that dont know how to do it on their own), but its all good. Good luck with the fender roll; i'll stay tuned for the finished product. Good luck with the fender roll; i'll stay tuned for the finished product. I don't know how to roll fenders but I can't believe it'd be very hard. The guys I am doing it with are local members as well, we just have a full house already. I would have been more than happy to get together with some other guys to do it if we had more space at the house we are doing it, but first come first serve I guess. I didn't mean to make it seem like I was making a meet out of this, I am sorry I offended you guys :( I'll post up the guys contact info in a day or two, after I we done with the tool and its available again, I promise. |
