I have a black on black 5 speed 1997 328i, it has 162,xxx miles. I love the car but I'm moving on to an m3! So it is time to sell this 2.8 liter beauty. I'm not going to be able to get the m3 until about the end of November or Early December and I want to try and unload the 328i around the same time I pick up the m3 so if you're interested please let me know now!

what was the reason for the new ECU?
a lot of the solder was going bad the board itself was just kind of dead so I soldered it so that it would work better for a few weeks and took it in to get it replaced. I replaced the board at 157,xxx so it had a good life but was inevitably going to die on me so I figured I would get a leap on it just incase it caused more damage when it went out.

If you want my honest opinion, if you are looking to sell, instead of bumping the thread, you should lower the price. THAT car in CALIFORNIA (ie the most expensive part in the contiguous united states to buy a car) would go for about 6,000. Sell the wheels separate, they are worth at least a grand, put some stockies back on it, and reduce your price. Otherwise, I forsee it sitting here for a while.
