Hi, I'm brand new here just baught a 2003 Z4 with 42k, silver on black with sport package. I will be picking it up next week in Virginia and will be flying from Maine. I noticed that alot of the black tops have white creases in them. I imagine its from when folded down dirt gathers in the folded spots and shows those whitish creases when top is up. What is the best way to clean the top and get it looking all black again.

Man I can't wait, I fell in love with this car last year and have been reading up on them for a while now. I think its one of the hottest looking spots cars especially with the 18 inch wheels. This will be my first BMW and convertible.

BMW dealers sell a good top cleaner and reconditioner, but it only lasts 1 application. I use RaggTopp now, which has enough for 2-3 treatments. You can find it at lots of online detailing suppliers.

but apparently I'm not high enough in this forum's food chain to post links to a source that provided me the BMW top cleaner and sealer without having to buy the mega-kit. Apparently new guys have to request clearance from the site owners or something because of the fear of newbies being spammers.

Too bad. It would have been helpful.
