hi , can anyone give me some much needed advice ,
when i put my foot down my engine doesn`t respond, no power,as though it is being starved of fuel,

that could be LOTS of things. can you be moer specific? automatic i assume? mileage? could be anything from your torque converter to a simple vacuum leak.

is it still running "smooth"? I had a similar issue when my tranny wouldn't shift out of 3rd.

wow. goathumper. most wouldn't advertise. can't believe i haven't noticed that one before.

more info is definetly needed. Could be clogged fuel filter, bad plugs, bad tranny, tranny fluid needs changing, problem with the tension on the gas pedal cable to the throttle on the intake manifold etc....
