I have a 2003 Z4 ( Vin#:4USBT53483LT23043) that has a rattle in the right side whidow when the door is closed or you hit a bump .The left side had the same noise and was repaired by the dealer in May (car was under warranty but is not now). I have a TIS repair manual but it is unclear as to what the required tools are to take the outer door handle off &/or the inner trim panel. Has anyone removed the inner door panel/ outer door handle & if so what non-BMW tools did you use? I did find that there was a BMW update that may have corrected this problem but only if the car was still under warranty . The car has 51000 kms on it now but I bought it in Alabama with 12000 miles on it
Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated!!

There is a how to on this forum about putting ambient lights around the door handle and latch I saw once and it did give instructions on how to remove the handle and door panel. Pics were there to for help. I looked pretty easy. I found it...:D
