So this morning was an eventful one with several trips to the DMV to register the bmw and our other car. Other car: successful, BMW: not so much. We need a certificate that our bank has to mail out, so there goes another week of not driving it.
Last night we discovered that we didn't have our NAV dvd, so I ran over to the dealership and bought one (posted that story last night). Get home with it, pop it in and click on NAV with idrive. It says "Please insert navigation dvd". Um, what? So we hit eject and the dvd doesn't come out. I know this was just posted in another thread, but what gives. My e-36 was a dream - never had issues. And now this? Also, we turned on the car and the transmission light came on. I know that could just be the wiring, but on the 1st day?
What was the outcome for others who had the same NAV problem?
