Quite a few imperfections. But thought you guys might enjoy anyways. Trunk has bad fitment. Hood needs replaced. Need a front passenger door trim. Need a driver side windshield wiper (notice how I have it rigged like a mono wiper, works surprisingly well!). Also needs new paint. The pictures hide it well. =)

Not bad, really.
I'd paint the lowers for sure. Need a new hood? Join the club. :( Bad trunk fitment? Join the club. :(

The trunk is peeling all over, the paint on the roof has major cracks, and the bumper paint is very faded. I'm going to have the whole car painted within the next month or two. I'm leaning towards the e46 Steel Grey color. Love it.
My toughest decision right now is whether I want my trim to be color matched with the rest of the paint job. If the paint is dark enough, I'd probably like the trim to be black.

Ehh...leave the trim black. These cars need the contrast; they can't pull it off like later E39s. but have the lowers painted. Best bet would be to get the MTech skirts from M5/'95 cars. There's a bit more to it than that though.
Go with Steel Grey for sure. Great color.

Here's a nice steel grey m3 for anyone who isn't familiar with the color.
The lowers will definitely be painted.
