i was thinking, how bout a n54 (335i engine i think) in to an e46 235i? i would like more power, and the stock engine , from what i have read, is not the plat form you want ( i was shooting 4 400whp). so i figure and engine swap is in mind. but, i would like to stay bmw, and would like boost. any thoughts?????

I don't know how much the n54 costs from the factory, but it seems like you would just be better off selling your car and buying a new one with the n54 already in it. Maybe a 135 if the 335 is too expensive for you.

why don't you just slap a turbo on the E46 yourself. You'll be able to get far more power for the money than doin a N54 swap.

yeah you are going to spend WAY TO MUCH on an N54 swap, just turbo your 325 or wait and buy a 135, the engine alone would cost in the 8k range and then you have to get someone to mount and wire it which would cost $$$, you can get a good turbo or supercharger for your car at a much more cost effective price.

well as of my knowledge no one makes a turbo kit for my car (05 325i) and there are limited superchargers out there.
