Some of you may have noticed that I have been off the forums for the most part recently. Well, I had a death in my family (grandpa) and that has taken a decent hit on my moral. We were pretty close when I was young, but when I went to school I did not see him as much and I decided to go see him on one of my trips back to ATL this summer and got the feeling that it might be my last. I stayed for as long as I possibly could and then waved goodbye to him the way I used to when I was a kid (which I had not done in years). A few weeks ago my mom called me and said he was sick, but it was really nothing to worry about as he was up and moving around in the hospital. She said he would probably have to have emergency surgery, but he would be fine. Well the doctors told him that it would not be until next week until they could get a team together and he told them that if it was going to be that long then it would never happen. That is when we knew things were serious. He was hiding behind a facade and was fighting for every moment. He went to sleep that night wanting to shave but being to tired to do so.
The next day he woke up and things had turned for the worst. I immediatly rushed home, only to get there 15 minutes after he passed. His final words were, "I love every single one of you." Needless to say this was pretty hard to deal with, and my mom was completely torn apart. The past month or so I have restarted school, but have been staying out of the limelight (as anyone at TRM how many times they have seen me in that time period). On top of this, I have had personal issue after personal issue to deal with along with feeling responsible for my mom and also dealing with my dad being sick, which he has been for the past 5-6 years.
Sorry for the diatribe, to the punch line...
Through a series of tough decisions I have decided the best thing for me to do is part my car out to stock as this will give me the money to solve a lot of issues that have been so pressing. Money can be spent in better places than on it right now and I would rather have it in my bank account (or the one were it will end up) than stuck in equity in my car.
So here is goes...
I can give more info to anyone interested (PM me or email), but I figure most would know what they are getting into.
I can sell the full OBDI 410 WHP, one of a kind, ES TS kit that is on my car, or it can go as the ES base kit minus the 36# injectors. There is a possibily that these kits will never be sold again and the 40 or so that are out there is all there will ever be. There is only one other kit like mine in the country and I built it also.
The 410 WHP version will include the following:
The base ES TS kit
76mm pulley
42# injectors
Schrick Exhaust cam
OBDI harness
All new OBDI sensors
413 DME
TRM Custom tune
The base kit will comes as it did from ES without injectors.
The bottom line...
For the base kit, I am looking to get $7,990. This is roughly $800 less than what you would have paid for it new and obviously no tat either, which is substantial on a $8000 plus purchase. The kit is like new (well maintained and less than 8k and a year of driving on it---no track time either) and has been dynoed multiple time at all power levels and performance changes. Oil has been changed at the obsessive rate of 1 every 2k. The price is also a factor that there will probably never be a kit like this again and if there is, the list will be $11,500.
As for the 410 WHP kit, I would like to get $9,700. That includes everything extra I added and at price under what I paid for the parts (which were largely already discounted).
I will also be selling:
LTW Splitter - $700 plus shipping
BBS LMs (maybe) - $2200 plus shipping with tires
Not sure what I am doing with my OE Amaretta Interior yet...
More thing will probably come.
BTW, this does not mean I am out of the scene at all. I will still be working with TRM for all you ES and AA TS upgrades. :buttrock
