I'm taking my 2004 into BMW service tomorrow for a few things. At the same time I'd like to ask them to get the clown nose to blink as I'm wired for an alarm but don't have one. My clown nose is NOT red...will it still be able to blink, as too fake people out??? Is the bulb inside red?????

The lens on mine is also NOT red, but does blink red while the car is locked. I, too, do not have an alarm, but mine came with the flashing already programmed from the dealer.

Mine is auto-dimming as well so it is clear/white, it blinks red when my car is locked as well. No alarm, as far as I know.
