I want to "black" out my car as you already know, but I'm trying to decide between tint or paint on the tail-lights ,head-lights(which are bi-xenon by the way), third brake light, reflectors, etc. If I go with tint you think 20% would be too dark the tail/head lights? I'm taking pics of the car tomorrow so I can post them up...any suggestions are welcome!
Thanks.

You want to black out your headlights (which allow you to see the road ahead of you when the sun goes down,) and black out your tail lights (which allow the rest of the world to see your intentions while following you.)

I'm waving my arms in frustration about what else to say. WHY WOULD YOU DO THIS?

20% is WAY too dark for any primary driving light front/back. I have 30% on my tails and my lights daytime/nightime on/off are still 100% visible, I didn't dare touch the headlights because it's just plain dumb. I tinted my reflectors with 5% to get rid of them, but once again wouldn't touch the headlights for sure. Tails are fine as long as they are fully visible at all times.

Heh, I just got it done yesterday, had to wash my car today before I would dare post pictures =] I'll get outdoor shots tomorrow but I'll have the ones I took in my garage in a few minutes, no worries

For tail-lights, 20% looks blacked out, while 30% looks more "smoked". 50% looks nice and subtle and very OEM until you sit the car next to a stock Z4. Unless you have a black Z4, go with either 30% or 50%. For headlights, not a good idea to tint them for obvious reasons, but if you must, go with 50%.
