Okay, so after mad searching, it appears that the Gigalumen by Autowerks is the only kit that guarantees against the need to reflash, flickering and throwing codes. However, I've yet to find a thread by anyone that can support this claim. Has anybody installed this kit and can verify this? How satisified are you with this kit??

its a claim thats all it is.
its next to impossible to make a blanket statement such as that without as much as seeing the car, considering it has to do with the car and not the hid kit makes it more outlandish.

we have a few kits with 80% success rate, the digital prolumen being the leading one.

Thanks for the reply Habbie! I found a Prolumen kit at xenonstore.com, but I have a few questions .. Is that relay harness required? Will that help prevent the flickering and LBF codes? Also, do the Prolumen kits come with E46 adapters so I don't have to do any sort of drilling? Thanks!

no adapters are included but you can make your own very easily or source some out on fleabay.
i also have other brands besides prolumen and there's an all new digital slim 50w kit on the way...:evil2

hey yo, if u didnt noice habbie sells prolumen, you should just buy from him, he is a great vendor and has the best prices and products! its a win win. dont bother buying some cheap kit off ebay or other sites that claim to have great kits. ask any of habbies customers he is legit. i had to learn the hard way i went through ton of kits before buying my prolumen kit from him, and ill never need to buy another kit agian because of the life time warrenty he offers.

Sorry, Habbie. I can't PM yet .. I'm too new =( I can't even post a proper smiley yet, lol. However, I'm really interested in your kit, but I'm worried about the adapters. I really don't want to have to drill into my bulb holders. Does your kill absolutely need to have holes drilled to install??? Also, is there an installation guide somewhere?

Thanks for your help!

you can get new covers for a few $$, if you dont want to drill you can cut a bit off on the bottom or top large enough to run 2 wires through.
there are write ups all over the place but they are general, its a one plug install so its not really complicated to be worthy of a long write up.
click on install guides in my sig and register on that forum to view the guides.

Thanks, Habbie for the very fast shipping! I actually expected it to arrive tomorrow. Quick question .. I noticed that two fuses came with the accessory package, do I replace the original fuses with those that came with the kit?
