FS: Brand New EVO III Shifter and DSSR
I have a Brand New in box Evo III Short Shifter and DSSR purchased a few months ago but never got around to installing. Now it's possibly time to trade the car in so the parts are no longer needed.
$325 shipped.
Please email me at chriskclee@gmail.com, I don't have access to this forum often and can't reply to posts in a timely manner, but I check email every few hours. I'm in Kailua, Hawaii
I had a ton of people ask about splitting the DSSR and shifter up, but I'd like to keep them together if possible. If I end up splitting them up i'll post it separately and let those of you who were interested have first shot.
Here's a description from a vendor:
UUC 3-series Street EVO 3 Short Shift Kit
Applications: 1987 - 2004 (E30, E36, E46, Z3)
E30 (excluding M3), E36 (except 328i/M3), E46 323i/325i, Z3 1.9/2.5. New EVO 3 edition! UUC's latest update has resulted in even smoother shifts, a reduction in vibration, and more features! UUC redesigned all of the pivot points in the shift linkage to reduce notchiness. The result is a shifter that is 35% shorter than stock but feels closer to the stock effort. And new internal dampening material doesn't transmit vibration to the shift knob. All UUC Short Shifters (http://forums.bimmerforums.com/forum/showthread.php?t=786677#) are height-adjustable over a 3/4" range - giving you the same ergonomic comfort as the original. UUC's Short Shift Kits include: T-304 stainless steel shift lever, sealed lower pivot bearings, and new installation hardware. Delrin shifter carrier bushings are optional. This is the best Short Shifter money can buy!
