E30Nova

Hey guys, I'm looking for some HID's for the E30. It's an 84 325e. I've looked and there seem to be a LOT of companies selling kits, but I don't really know what I'd need. I'm afraid that I'm just going to get a kit that doesn't do much, like this:

Do any of these kits give superb lighting like this:

I'm not looking for just brighter lights, I'm looking for good lights (along with angel eyes, because those are just sexy, lol).
EDIT: K, how long until I can post pics and/or links? I at least got it to show the main link, all you guys have to do is copy/paste the link into a new page and it'll show the pics (hopefully someone can copy/paste them in their post to make things easier).

So then would something like this work?
cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/82-91-BMW-E30-CCFL-Halo-Projector-headlight-318-325I-M3_W0QQitemZ200152131062QQcmdZViewItem?hash=item20 0152131062 (copy/paste in new window)
I want the angel eyes, but I also want good lighting that lights up the whole road. I know when I got an "HID" kit for my Nova, it basically was like super high wattage halogens in that the beam was focused in one basic area, instead of lighting the whole road. I know now that this is mainly because I'm still using reflector housings, but I'm just afraid that all the "kits" I see for the 325 will end up the same.

Why not? I've seen some members cars here and I think they look pretty sexy with them. :redspot

Exactly. Your car has sealed beam headlamps, which are not appropriate for HID's. Later model E30's came with projector low-beams (US Ellipsoids), and so did the Euro versions (smilies). Either of these will project an excellent HID light pattern.
You could use the e-bay lenses posted above if you really want the angel eyes, but that's a matter of personal taste. I wouldn't expect excellent quality from a Chinese made product.
Get the US ellips used, or the Euro smilies can be found here: http://www.abrahamsmotorsport.com/e30.htm

Just my opinion, of course....
