Actually we call it Track Orientation -- To get our new-to-the-track and returning instructors recalibrated to the track. Gotta stick with the educational mission of the BMW CCA.

For those on the board who are interested in watching the club races, there will be three of them:

90-minute Enduro Friday 3:30
30-minute Sprints on Saturday 5:30 and Sunday at 1:05.

Touring Laps on Saturday during lunch. Must be a participant in the school or a BMW CCA member (bring your card) to partake. As usual, a $10/car contribution for a designated charity is required.

We usually get a spot close to the center of the paddock along the main road coming in the gate..

Just look for 4 white canopies with an E46 M3 coming off of a car hauler and an old Delphin E30 with a silver boxtrailer it drug in...

I was in a Black 320D Touring. this was my daily driver over there.
It does an indicated 227 kph or 141 mph!
Not bad for a little Turbo Diesel.

The last two sessions today I was riding Solo and man it was awesome. Both seasons were great but the last one something just clicked and I was flying. Brakes felt better than all weekend, tires were grippy and I was just scooting! Learned a lot this weekend and my instructor's Z06 broke and so for one session I got to ride with one of the Chin Motorsport's instructors so I got a 2nd set of evaluation's of my driving(only 1 session) so that was a big plus too!

Another great Peachtree Chapter event, and a fantastic weekend. I had a great time hanging out with Gordon (er, Geordie), Anna, David, Mike, Matt, Troy, Patrick and all the others that stopped by. Awesome group of people.

But we had a customer that went into 10a in an e46 328i and he said for 6 months he would randomly here a *ping ping ping* as little rocks fell out :)

Apparently my bimmers didn't love rumbling on the track this weekend :) I'll have to post my pics of them both being towed home... quite a site seeing both of your cars on a tow truck at the same time. I think 83 is my unlucky number :(

M3 is all fixed up now at least (parts provided by United Roswell :) ), even though i mighta broken a finger... just my luck this weekend huh.

E30 will be going under diagnostic surgery in a few hours. I'm thinking the clutch is just obliterated.
