Blake,

I am working with someone on some CF stuff. Can you give a little more detail of what size (Diameter) gauge opening and the number of openings you wanted? Do you want them on both A pillers or just the driver side?

The biggest issue with the A piller covers are the little tabs. I have the old A piller covers to be used as molds.

Hi Ahmed,

I would like them black CF (see my roadfly blog to see my interior), for 2 1/16" gauges, and I am thinking just 2 of them (Water Temp & Oil Pressure).

I bought a $5 fits all one on ebay just to get an idea if I would like it and it has 3 holes but they come way up the piller with 3, so I think I just want 2, althought 3 would be nice if the were low and not far apart so they come all the way up the piller (that way I could have Water Temp, Oil Temp and Oil Pressure).

Let me know if you need more info, if need be I could take a picture of the cheap one i got se in place to show you what I mean (like I said I bought it just to see it is not actually installed in the car, and won't be).

Don't E31s already have a water temp gauge? Wouldn't an oil temp gauge be more useful and less redundant?

The E31 water temp gauge is a computer generated representation of the coolant temperature within the desired range. Not actual coolant temperature.

Is there an OBC function that lets you display the real value? (I ask as there is one on E38s, E39s, etc)

I'd also be interested Faisal in any CF products for the 8.

I called the CF guy Saturday. The CF guy broke his arm in 2 places in a motorcycle accident and everything is on hold. Hope he makes a full and speedy recovery and I'll keep you all posted.
