Thinking about this car on craigslist. 1992 BMW 325i (http://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/car/416840806.html). I know I know, it's an automatic, but it's pretty much what I'm looking for. Fairly low miles and my wife can drive it (auto). Have a baby on the way and want something reliable for her to drive around. If you know the car and can offer insight please do. I'm from Florence so it's not as easy as just drive and take a look. Thanks!

looks pretty nice to me. That is low miles for a car like that also. dont know the seller/car though sorry.

Maybe someone in the portland area could check it out for you.

P.S. have you always lived in Florence? my ex is from there.

If anyone wants to, and has the time to take this thing for a joy ride and give me their honest opinion it would be much appreciated.

I've gathered that the front windows don't go all the way down, but roll up. The sunroof doesn't open. And the power seat on the driver side isn't hooked up.

I'm guessing the front windows are off track, just had to fix my bro's ti window because of that. Sunroof motors aren't too spendy on ebay, if it's the problem. Not familiar with Power seats though, don't know why it would be unhooked, unless it was removed and never hooked back up.

I'd look for a vanos equipped e36 (93+)

Vanos ='s 1 more thing than can go wrong that I don't want to have to deal with on my wife's car. If it were my car, I'd probably seek out a 93+.

If you have to ask what it costs on a 7 car; you can't afford it.

I think you are correct. Found out the one I was interested in was at a dealer. Needless to say, I'm no longer interested.
