Alright, so I have a set of OEM Clear taillights, and I would like to lightly smoke the top clear part (not the rest). I do not want to paint them, I would rather use lamin-x or something of the sort. How many of you have successfully done this, and do you just place the lamin-x on the outside? Does it stick out at all and look bad close up? Also, where did you buy it? I cant for the life of me find any lamin-x that would work for our tails. Any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

you can contact lamin-x directly and just get the strip for the top clear section in 'smoke' if you like. it applies from the outside. easy DIY.

I've seen DIY's, and I painted my front corners and side markers myself - thats not the problem though. I just don't want the permanent paint on my tails, mostly because they're true OEM's and worth a lot and just permanent. So I'm looking for lamin-x for it, but I can't find it anywhere. :-/

DamnYank - thats what I'm looking for, I just couldn't find any contact info. Any help there?
