I'm doing this for a co-worker. She was just about to get "rapped" at the dealer with some insane prices on labor and parts.
My main reason for posting was to see if there is another dealership around the area of Silver Spring/Laurel/Burtonsville, Maryland that anyone on here would suggest.
Says she took it to Tisher BMW in the Briggs Chaney auto court.
From what she has told me, she has an 2003 BMW 325i with only 41k and the dealership was telling her she was going to need a $3200 worth of work. Mind you that the quote was HAND WRITTEN!!!!
Some of the things the dealership said she NEEDED to get replaced were CV boots(which she said she heard NO knocking while turning cause I asked her), CV Joints, All rotors and brakes and some other things.
I just found it very hard to believe...................
