Copenhagen944 09-09-2007, 12:18 AM I searched, couldn't find anything...
Will the Style #94 or #95 wheels fit on an e38? Anyone have any pics of either of these on a grey 740iL ?
Much thanks!

Cashmere740IL 09-09-2007, 07:58 AM It's not gray but they do fit nicely.
Copenhagen944 09-09-2007, 09:48 AM Thanks guys, those look really nice on the e38. Is the ride still nice when going up to the 19"s?
Cashmere740IL 09-09-2007, 11:36 AM Yes, mine rides better than my stock 16" basketweaves.
mahmudb 09-09-2007, 01:58 PM I have the style 94's on my car. I love the ride! No more shimmy and its silky smooth on the highway. You do feel the bumps more but not too bad. I don't regret gettings these.

Copenhagen944 09-09-2007, 06:48 PM now those look sweet. I found a set w/ tires about a year old, no curb rash for $700 for all. Good deal?
Cashmere740IL 09-09-2007, 07:20 PM 700.00 is a good deal. I won my Style 95's off ebay....325.00 after tax..only 1 other person bid on them and time ran out when they were bidding so I got lucky. I picked them up locally with 1,000 miles on them.:buttrock

What style are they? If they are the stye 95's then that is a very good deal. If they are the style 94's then its an ok deal. I got my style 94's with tires for $625 shipped. The next day I saw the exact same set for $499 plus $93 shipping. Good Luck!
sleepy740 09-09-2007, 10:03 PM style 95s are my favorite OEM wheel on the e38 (alpina isnt OEM, right?)...
if i was keeping mine, i would def buy some of those...

They are the 94s.
Copenhagen944 09-10-2007, 10:17 PM I just picked up the 94s. I found a good deal in Baltimore, but when I told the guy I wouldn't be buying his, he lowered the price to $550. WooHoo!
They have Bridgestone Turanza EL42s (245/50R18 100V) on them with 80% tread left. :) Happy dance. I will post pics tomorrow!
Copenhagen944 09-11-2007, 01:36 PM Alrighty... here are the pics. Are the lugs that were on the car sufficient for these wheels? Can I find locking lugs anywhere? Thanks!!!
mahmudb 09-11-2007, 02:19 PM BEAUTIFUL!!!! Those go really well with your car. I have the stock lug nuts on the car and the wheel shop I bought them from said that they are sufficient for the wheels. As long as you get them torqued your good. This is just the beginning of your mod fever! I'm ordering all sorts of goodies for my ride!
Cashmere740IL 09-11-2007, 06:31 PM Looks Good.
sleepy740 09-11-2007, 08:43 PM nice!

Hell yeah that was a good deal.
Copenhagen944 09-11-2007, 11:18 PM Thanks! They do look nice on there. I can't believe that I only paid $550. The tires alone are worth $800.
I felt the bumps a little more, and it does lift the car up a bit, but the ride is nice, and the look is phenomenal.
There are a few more things that I need to do. I've had the car for 2 years, and this is the first "mod" that I have done.
