So i ordered some depo clear corners from umnitza, i get em, open them up, everything is there. So time to mount them to the car.

The driver side goes in with relatively little hitch, however the passenger side corner is an absolute nightmare. The tabs which the secure the bulb mount are spaced a little off to mount, so it required some brute force to get them in. Secondly the mounting rails where not aligned properly so the corner does not sit flush with the body, also breaking the alignment prong as well due to the in accuracy with the mounting rails and cheap plastic. On top of all that the clip that attaches to the mount is too short and will not secure, I am guaranteed that this one will fall out some day and smack the tire or end up on the highway.

Also no reflectors in them whatsoever, making them DOT illegal.

I'm not even gonna return them, because another pair will most likely come with manufacturer defects as well. I'm going OEM next time around.

I agree maybe your car has been crashed....

I have depo corners, depo headlights, side markers and rear tail lights. I think the quality is as good as factory.

I have sold and installed plenty of depo products, never been unsatisfied with their quality. I think it's good stuff!!

There's always a chance you got a bad set........

Dude, get the hell out of here. DEPOs are cheap, but you just need to fine tune them.

Use a file on the tabs of the corners to get them to fit better, and bend the body tab that the corner's pin goes into to alter the angle they insert from.

The passenger side corner was entirely misshapen, the car has never been in a frontal collision because the OEM corner was able to go back on smoothly, and i bet another one would go on just as easily.

Also one thing remains, whether or not i got a bad set, the plastic is still of poor quality and there are no reflectors in them.

All my other lighting products have been either OEM, or OE and never have they caused any trouble. No leaks, fogging, and perfect fitment. In my opinion, that is wort the extra cost.

Whats the difference between quality plastic and low grade plastic? Thiclness? clearity?

The plastic on the DEPO corner was very flimsy and brittle, the tabs were able to break off with little force, and apparently the whole corner had been warped as well.

The plastic on the OEM corner however was much denser and more flexible, less likely to break or fail.

clear corners do NOT have reflectors in them at all.. does not matter on the brand or even for what car they are for... that is a fact, live with it.

As for not being able to mount your corner.. I had a similar problem (my car been wrecked once though) but all it took was a careful amount of adjusting the headlight itself to sit further outwards towards the side of car (maybe a few millimeters a most, totally unnoticble) and then the corner sat perfectly into the grooves.

Chances are, if you bought brand new corners from the dealer, you would have the same problem.

Headlights often interfere with corner fitment - espeically ellipsoids
