I would like to know how to adjust my headlights. The headlights are aimed too low and I cannot get them to adjust up. I am concerned that the adjustment on the headlight has broken or I am not adjusting them properly.

Most repair shops will just tell you that you need to replace the whole set of lights ($450). I'd suggest you go to the dealer. It'll only cost about $150.

E39dream had to order the adjusters from Germany and take his headlights apart, but his headlights work now....
If you want to buy new headlights, E39 01+ headlights range in price from 800 to 1200.....
