probably have to make them. Nightshades makes a red tint spray too

you make them,
instead of smoking them you use a translucent red paint, you can find it at hobby stores

thanks guys, i assume you can just take apart the tailights with a heat gun?

not sure on that.. BMW uses some tough glue. I would mask and paint over the outside of the clear (and amber if that if what you are using) and then clear coat the whole light

No need to take them apart.

You can use Testors Candy Apple Red paint and spray it over the amber part of the stock tails, possibly the reverse section if you want the whole thing to be red. After that, throw on some clear coat, and you'll hardly know they were painted.

I did that originally, it works well.

awesome. i'll try that then.

is there a vividracing vendor member or someone on here?
i bought the taillights off their site for the car, with the clear turn signal.. but the outside has like a clear bead thing, it doesn't look like the picture, more like a altezza clear type taillight.

I will never understand this. It looks clean, but when you are in reverse, it lights up red, so that must create a confusing situation for some drivers

Not really.. The lights are pretty obvious.. they couldnt be brake lights or anything like that.

I'll take pics later on in the day, but i'm not sure how to post them since the forum won't allow me, but i'll get some pics up anyways.

Yeah, I was aware of that. I was thinking of just getting some clear circle lights, and mounting them down at the bottom on the plastic of the rear bumper. I'll prob look more into it later. I'd just for now figure out what to do with these lights I bought...

Just be unique and do it. Maybe it'll look nice on a red or white car. Do it to the stockers first to see how it turns out.

Alternatively, just paint the amber part red and leave the reverse light part clear.
