Looking at the back of my projector housings there are three mounting posts that look like they might match up to the three-hole HID ballasts (which I do not have yet so I can't verify myself)
Does anyone know if they will just screw onto those mounting posts?

just mount it was some zip ties.

no, just use some double sided industrial lock velcro and slap them on where you have room

i have one velcro'd to my washer fluid bottle and the other to the shock tower... works fine for me

why definitely no? The hole spacing looks the same and I'm wondering if that's what the posts are there for in the first place?
One vendor uses a Razr phone as a size reference and if I hold my phone up to the holes it makes me think even more that it'd fit there.:beer
