Saturday's 12 lap qualifying race. (my first race)

(around 4.20 i finnally pass the red porsche)

Sunday's Main event know as the "flag race" since in vintage racing there are no trophies if you win you get take home the checkered flag.

In case you were curious my car had a stock head at the time and was probably making 110rwhp....2000lbs......i was getting around willow around 1:45's fastest 2002 in my class was running 1:40 and pole and race winner steve Link in a Datsun 510 was running 1:38. So I have some work to do.

That's a neat little bugger! Looks fun.

Have you run it at the Streets of Willow course? I think you'd have lots of fun on that track with that car.

Not yet, but street of willow should be really fun with it! Button willow is also great.

I should be installing my new race head on it soon and It should get me up to maybe 120-130 rwhp. So that will help out quite a bit.

Very nice. Good job. Sorry about the mechanical failure.

You must have a sense of accomplishment knowing that you got your first race under your belt.

I am hoping (if the car is finished and the driver is ready) to have my first race in November at Buttonwillow.
