Have any of you guys done this? It looks like a UK only thing and I have not seen this in the US. I was curious as to what they do to the car, if there are applications for 06+ Z's and warranty conflicts. TIA.

I would have to think that first of all it would certainly constitute some level of warranty violation, and secondly that it would be a particularly prickly one to work around, in that it would be extremely difficult to allege in the normal "this didn't cause that to happen" warranty defense, because who knows what the Superchip chip really does or doesn't impact?

Yeah, I would have to agree, that the benefit gained would have to be substantial and documented before I would take the risk of damaging my car or voiding the warranty. For a good deal of us, I am assuming that this is our primary vehicle not a $3,000 extra race-car that we just have fun with on weekends. But I would be interested in knowing if anyone has tried this mod.

I wish confronti would come out with a shark injector for the z4 models. I had a shark on my 323ci and it was incredible. Plus if you ever have to take the vehicle in for warrenty work you just re-load the stock software.

+1 on Shark Injector. It really makes a difference on 99 Z3 Coupe 2.8. I am waiting for one for my 04 Z4.

I think we all need to band together and let confronti know that there is a demand out there for this product

My 330Ci is sharked and I don't find it especially impressive. The throttle map is a little more linear and the rev limit is raised, but there was little or no power gain (2HP or something). It was not worth $400.
