I recently bought an '02 M3 with 32K miles on it. Silver on gray leather, it looks like no one has ever sat in it. All warranty work performed. I bought it about 2 weeks ago, drove it around, my gf came in for Labor day weekend. It carried us in comfort without issue. I just clayed/polished/glazed it today. I love it.

I have owned many fast cars, a supercharged Integra GSR, a 1967 Corvette, a Supra, a 2000 S4 with K04's on it (I still miss the torque that car had...) a Stage III Passat 1.8T, and I think the M3 is my favorite. It is balanced, fast, well built, and beautiful. I have wanted one since 1995 and just haven't been able to find one, or they were too costly for me.

So now that I have one, I am extremely happy. I am going to change the shifter, tint the windows, put on some strut bars and call it a day until I need new tires (It has Michelin Pilots on it with less than 4000 miles on them...)

I just got my M3 a few weeks ago, too.

It's not as fast or raw as the ///M Roadster I had, but it is pretty damn luxurious compared to the roady.
