Anyone know how to check the transmission fluid in a '94 525i? Also, once you drop the pan and filter and put the new ones on, is it filled from that same place you check it or where?

m50 right ?
2 plugs one for filling and one for draining. Fill up through the side plugs of course and when it starts comin out of the hole its done.

Just the plugs on the side of the pan? how do you get it to fill through the tranny all the stuff that came out when I took the filter out? do you have to shift through the gears while its running or anything like that?

Oh, and yes its a M50 24v
