So I kept getting a "tail light out" message for the last week or so. I would normally just tap it and it would light back up. I ended up pulling the tail light to see if there was an issue. lo and behold, the area surrounding the running light bulb was burnt and melting away. :( AGAIN. This is the second cluster that's melted on me. I did a search, and the only thing I came up with are posts about lights going out. Why are my clusters melting?? Bad ground? fuse? LKM? Anyone had this issue.

make sure the bulbs you are using are the correct wattage, too high and the bulb will burn brighter and melt the plastic surround...i have seen this done to some customers cars and they had the incorrect bulb installed

I'll def check that out. Next question is: Does anyone have a passenger side tailight they want to sell me?? :)
