i am installing a few gauges in my f250 turbodiesel and want to know where to buy this one part so i can tap my intake. it is the little fitting where the boost line from the gauge goes into the intake. HELP ME FIND ONE PLEASE!

I didn't know this was BMW related...
Haha, just go to any auto part store like napa, and they'll have the crush fittings. I believe its 1/4" nylon hose, not sure though.

you can get those fittings at most hardware stores in the plumbing aisle. Ask an employee to direct you to the hoses and fittings for refrigerator water lines.
As for your own lower dash install, that's not exactly where I'd be looking in my pickup to get a quick look at the status of the system. I'd get an A-pillar setup and scrap the mini-glove box gauges. Out of sight, out of mind.

ok thanks, i will look there. i didn't really think about going there. but do they have that little piece that looks like a really tiny lemon :) that you slide the line into that keeps it in the correct place?
a-pillar = rice and ugly as sin. you don't need to always be looking at your gauges so down low is just fine.

that's where you and I differ in opinion.
rice = useless
having a narrow band afr gauge on a stock Geo Metro = rice, etc.
have a-pillar gauge pods for important monitoring equipment at eye level for a modified vehicle is not rice. I would keep the egt and boost gauge up high and rely on the factory trans temp gauge to eliminate the need for a third gauge.

it is a 03 f250. not a 8 second racecar.

again this is where you and I differ in opinion. When ever I get around to upgrading the software of my pickup, I'll be adding the requisite gauges and mounting them at eye level.
I guess I would view mounting those gauges so low as being rice....a function over form issue in my opinion. :dunno

u really should keep atleast ur boost gauge visible at all times. i know its not gonna be a full blown race car but i can tell you that your gonna be pretty pist off the one time you decide to have some fun and u blow a line of or somethen and overboost and dont know it because ur boost gauge is on the floor where u (hopefuly) wont be looking when ur going wot down a highway or w/e. overboosting for any extended period of time is bad news and can grenade even the strongest of motors. trust me its happened to many people with many different types of cars both foreign and domestic. if you dont like the a-pillar look( its ok im not really a fan of it my self) try mounting it on the dash or somewhere around the gauge cluster. my personal favorite spot for the boost gauge is on the steering column right smack in the middle of everything. its pretty much impossible for me to not see it.
