But, they don't weigh much. Seems like Tony C told be about 15lbs. I picked one up at his shop once. It wasn't very heavy. BTW, Tony does sell a nice kit to cover the hole and for heater hose bypass. www.tcdesignfab.com Jay thanks, I thought it weighed more:( jmitro 09-03-2007, 08:58 PM nope, it's not that much weight, but it does simplify things under the dash quite a bit. there's not much to it....if you have the dash out, just start removing things :) there are two coolant hoses that traverse the firewall going into the engine bay that are connected to the heater core. these will have to be cut and spliced or whatever ingenious thing comes to mind. one of these comes from the back of the head, so you will have to loop the coolant hose from the head back up to the front of the engine. make sense? vinnymac 09-04-2007, 10:20 AM There are a few coolant lines that go through the firewall. Disconnect those first. The rest is just removal of fasteners and a little elbow grease. |
