Ok this is becoming a nightmare and its so simple its killing me. I'm trying to install the autometer autogauge tachometer now I have installed these on honda's before no sweat. I have everything hooked up but my tach reads 500 when its really 3000 and there is no calibration switch or anything. I have cut the orange wire to set it in 6 cylinder mode. I have the green wire from the tach going to Negative side of the coil. It gets better
because now
1. My battery is dead (being charged at autozone) did I ground it?
or burn up my alternator?
2. Just a coincidence that my alternator or something is draining my new gel battery?
Brand new battery today
Ok so I have pretty much abandoned the Tach for now because
I cant get her to start.
1. No noise at all (except the fuel pump) No crank no click nothing!
Did I blow a fuse or relay? I'll take any help/any suggestions... Thanks
