Selling a black Cobra Suzuka Kevlar seat (the standard version, not the wide one) with Cobra brackets and Recaro sliders. Used for autoxing for a couple years but as the pictures show, it is still in great shape. This set-up cost over $800 new. First $400 takes everything. SOLD
Also selling a Chase Cam camera mount. Used twice..practically new, not a scratch on it. Was $110 new, selling for $65. SOLD

Here's a pic of the FIA tag. No idea if this means it's current or not but let me know.

I used it for an 8mm Cannon and an old VHS style camera so I'd guess yes.

That price dosen't include shipping. My guess is that it would be between $80-$125 to ship it to Florida from Seattle.

As for it being a good daily driver seat, it's more comfortable than you'd think...I kept it in the car over the summers and enjoyed it. Even did a road trip to California and back with the seat in the car...both me and my co-driver were shocked at how comfortable it was on such a long trip.

Can you weigh the seat with hardware? Need to know if it's lighter than my current OMPs.

Are the side brackets Aluminum or steel? (test with a fridge magnet)

Local pickup is an option right?

Do the seats have a pass through for a submarine belt, or only for the shoulder & lap belts? Thanks

Seat plus brackets (which are Aluminum) is 19lbs 2oz. The sliders are 6lbs even.

Yes, local pickup would be fine. I live north of Seattle and could probably meet you somewhere near Bellingham.

Yes..I think? I'm not familiar with submarine belts but there is a hole where a belt would pass between your legs if that's where submarine belt goes.

Yep, its still available. Many have inquired but none have stepped up with cash yet. Local pickup would be great. Here's a link to their website with some pictures of various mounting convigurations...the mounting options are vitrually limitless.

Depends on your definition of "fit":) Yes, you'd fit but it would be snug. My friend is a size 42" and he fits, but I'm not sure he'd be happy driving around in the seat for long periods of time.

Do you know what is the width dimension (across the seat) of the side fixing points (where the bolts attach to the seat)?

Thanks,
Mike

Sorry, I was in between meetings and didn't have much time for a spin. I'm glad the mount worked out for you.

The seat is still available, I've had several people inquire but no takers yet....I know SOMEONE has to want it!

I really like this seat! Is it necessary to use the sliders to mount the seat, or can it be mounted in a fixed position without sliders?

Can you approximate shipping costs to 97540, Talent OR.

Steve

No need to use the sliders if you don't want to, in fact, it will probably save you around an inch of headroom if you don't use them.

I called DHL, shipping costs would be around $25...much cheaper than I would have thought. Let me know if you are interested.

Seat, brackets and sliders still available. Price dropped to $375 plus shipping.

After checking on shipping rates, it appears that it's a lot cheaper than I originally thought. Probably between $25-$65 depending on where you live.

Do you know what if any differences there are between this seat and the 2006 model? I want to run this seat next to a 2006 model, but I am not sure if there will be any noticeable differences...

I tried to PM you, but the forum won't let me, am I too new?

I am very interested in this seat, I am hoping however that you might take less than your asking price for the seat without the sliders. If you don't want to sepparate the pieces I would offer $380 including shipping to OR. Please contact me when you get a chance.
