I washed my car yesterday, it is a 1993 325is. Now today it will not start! can you all please help me ASAP! It ran perfect before and now it just wont turn over.

Check the compartment that hold the DME. Its drains can become plugged and water damage of the DME is possible.

where is that?

check your battery compartment too.

Both dme and battery compartments are dry. there is water on the passanger side floor though, i have no idea where or how that got there. I at a loss. I spent all day trying to figure this out. And I'm not tha savy with this sorta thing.....

I feel for ya man, I can only imagine how frustrating that would be :mad All I can say is good luck because I dont know what it could be either.

Ok lets try step by step. You said it won't turn over, can you hear starter clicking or making any noise? when you try to turn over does your dash lights dim , flikering or go out?. Is it manual or auto?

its an auto, and yesterday it was trying to start but wouldnt turn over, the dash lights do not dim or flicker. now this morning i went outh there and i thought it was gonna start and then it just quit. and wont do anything. i tried jump it yesterday and that didnt do anything.
