Does anyone knows about a park/lake that is around the 10 and 15 or 215 freeway, I remember we did a field trip there when I was in high school, and it was really nice, I don't remember exactly but once you get off the freeway, there is a long 2 lane road going through the mountains, and a train railroad iirc

You're probably thinking of Silverwood lake (reservoir).

Go north on the 15, past the 215/15 merge, and continue north.

Get off at hwy 138. It is just past the weigh station. (You sould be in the right lane by then)

Turn right at stop sign, and basically follow hwy 138 to lake. There are signs on the way. (if you see signs about wrightwood, or palmdale you turned the wrong way...)

Nice road, but there can be a lot of trucks, and other slow moving vehicles, not to mention on coming traffic crossing over the centerline.
