I've been waiting for a couple of months to find a E39 530i that I was interested in and was delighted when one came up for sale a couple of weeks ago, had it inspected, was happy and never looked back. I picked it up a couple of days ago.

It's a 2001 530i Sport in manual. I have already fitted the black kidney grilles and a set of Predator ICE. I have a set of smoked Hella tails on their way to me also. Future plans include M5 front grille, 35% tints, coilovers, 18" wheels and an ESS Supercharger kit. Here's some pics!

Thanks! I originally wanted a cream leather interior but when I sat into a Alcantara seat, I loved it. Being a black car also I thought the darker interior suited better, and with the aluminium dash panels I knew I'd be stupid to let it go!

Thanks for the nice comments guys. If I had to choose one mod and one mod only it would be the supercharger kit. I've already placed the order but I know the only problem I'll have is getting the time to fit it! I'd say it'll be up and running by early October. I'm already looking forward to it!

That car is sharp as hell! Weird seeing them without sunroofs. Too bad they never offered us the alcantara.

Yeah, it's factory brushed aluminium trim, it definitely goes well with the rest of the interior.

LOL, you kinda get used to the steering wheel being on the "wrong" side, as with using the gear stick with your other hand, I'd imagine I'd have a bit of fun trying to shift properly/quickly in your cars! :)

@BlackSapphire, In relation to the M-Tech front bumper, every E39 Sport in Europe after 01' had a T-bar grille instead of the plain mesh grille on the M5 (you can see it clearly in the 2nd pic), I'm not a big fan of it and think it would look cleaner without the bar.

Thanks, yeah I like them too, if they were 18" I'd probably keep them; I think I'll end up changing them out for a set of 18's eventually. But, in saying that, I may grow to love them, will have to wait and see!

Thanks, the motorways (highways :)) here are very good, the majority have been re-surfaced over the last ten years so they are lovely to drive on, go up the mountains and deep into the countryside though and it's a different story! It would test even the most experienced drivers!

I don't actually know the color of the car! I'm interested to know the color code and therefore which black it is. I remember seeing a thread that told you where to find the code on the car, must do a search and check it out later on.

Unless I am color blind but from your pics... it really looks like carbon black as I think I see a little blue in it, but I always thought carbon black came only on M cars??? Check your color code... if your color code is 416 then it's carbon black.
