A light earthquake occurred at 10:29:14 AM (PDT) on Sunday, September 2, 2007.
The magnitude 4.7 event occurred 15 km (9 miles) WNW of Lake Elsinore, CA.
The hypocentral depth is 2 km ( 2 miles).

That was weak sauce. Im about to go dirt bike riding within a few miles of the epicenter.... maybe mother earth will really let me have it.

I'm NEVER around when these exciting things happen! I slept through Northridge, through Landers. I was in Japan when the last 4.X hit, and I'm in Monterey when a 4.7 happens less than 10 miles from my house!

I have the USGS send earthquake reports to my email. No, it was not better.
