Hey everybody,
Looking to sell my '95 320i. Car is located in Montreal, Canada. Prices are in Canadian Dollars (its worth more than you think, lol).
Specs:
Color: Grey
Engine: 2.0L
Transmission: Automatic
Mileage: 156,000 km (~97,000 miles)
Features:
- Black Leatherette interior (yes, i know its not leather, but its also great because it shows no wear.)
- Air Conditioning
- Cold Winter Package (seat heaters, ski bag)
- 6 CD Changer
- Power windows, Power Locks, but Manual Seats
- Fog Lights
Modifications:
- H&R Sport Lowering Springs (1" all around) (about 30,000 km on them)
- Remus Exhaust (cat-back)
- AC Schnitzer Ebrake, Pedals and Gearshift
- Tinted windows
- 18" Ro_Ja Formula 7 Rims (Kumho Ecsta 712's -- 225/40/18)
Price = $5000 CDN (negotiable)
That is a very reasonable price, and is the way it is for the following reasons:
1) Most major reason is the car sometimes inexplicably stalls. This has only started happening recently, and I have just moved overseas, so dont have the ability or the need to have it fixed. It would normally happen after driving for 20-30 mins, then when I would stop at a light or stop sign, and it would just stall. Then you start it again, and take off, no problem.
2) The steering wheel shakes when you brake. From what I have found out, this can be caused by aging rotors/brake pads, or it can be the control arms.
3) The gear shift is a little weird in that when you move it from Park to Drive for example, the indicator lights wont match up with what gear your selecting. So you just have to be aware of how many slots you are moving it, and;
4) There is some wear and tear on the car that is not visible in the pictures
- A spot of rust on the left rear wheel well, and rust along the trunk where the trunk meets the rear bumper.
- The top of the steering wheel has worn out, and is now peeling
Therefore I find my price very reasonable. Even if you brought it in to have all the issues repaired, you would still be paying less than buying a similar car, with similar mileage (150, 000 is still low for a BMW, it can definitly take you another 150K).
I am overseas, so if you would like to contact me, PM me or email at: tokorougo (at) hotmail (dot) com.
Then, if you are still interested, I will give you the contact of the person who will be showing you the car.
If you would REALLY like to talk to me directly, PM me, and I will send you my number overseas, and you can call me.
Terrence
Here are some pictures (take note: the M3 Front Bumper and M3 mirrors are NO LONGER on the car, sorry):
