he history of motorcycles in Italy is almost as long as that of its automobiles (and some, Maserati & ISO for example, even built motorcycles of their own for a period of time)! The two earliest companies were Gilera in 1909 with its VT 317, and Moto Guzzi in 1919 with its “G.P” (Guzzi-Parodi). Other Italian companies soon followed with their own motorcycles, such as Benelli in 1921, Moto Morini in 1925, MV Agusta in 1945 (incidentally, MV Agusta has one of the best histories in motorcycle Racing, with 63 World Championships!!), Laverda in 1948 and the list goes on.
In 1926 the 3 Ducati brothers in Ispra, Italy, founded Ducati, and in 1946 they developed a micro-engine, strapped it to a bicycle frame and created the Cucciolo (Little Puppy).
As with Italian automobiles, all Italian motorcycles are revered for their power and design. How many times have we heard statements like “Nothing sounds like a Ducati”, or “MV Agusta is a work of art”? There is a mystique to Italian motorcycles that is like that of the Harley Davidson to the American V-Rod crowd. From their sexy lines to their unmistakable engine sound, to their earth shattering performance, they turn heads wherever they go.
For the 15th annual Italian Concours this year, we will have a circle of Italian Motorcycles, which will display both an early example and current model from 7 Italian manufacturers (Ducati, Aprilia, Moto Guzzi, MV Agusta and three others). We hope you can join us for what promises to be another outstanding event!

I think there will be plenty of ferraris, lamborghinis, etc...just the featured vehicle is motorcycles, not positive on that one
