Installed earlier this morning, I get sound out of all the speaker while listening to the radio, but once I turn it to CD, or AUX I get no sound. I am wondering if anyone has any input before I ship it back off to the online reatialer for a replacement. There also seems to be a small "thump" noise when turned onto CD mode.

I’ve been struggling with the same problem with an after-market Alpine unit.

O.K. I got it. Found the answer in another thread.

By your symptoms the harness' power antenna wire is definitely connected to the head unit's power antenna wire and not the head unit's remote turn on.

If all else fails: whatever the blue or blue/white wire on your wiring harness is connected to now, swap is so it's connected to the other blue (or blue/white) wire off the head unit.
