Hi, New to forum. Just bought 2004 z4 last week. Took it into dealership for help pairing cell phone and told even though there are many indications my car has bluetooth capabilites it doesn't without large expense. Sound familiar??? Thanks

My phone is on the compatible list. If I understand correcty from what the dealership said and the few old threads I've read here the components in the 2004 were not complete. Do others agree? Thanks, Cindi

Yes, that is what I have found out with my '04 z4. To compensate, BMW added the remote top down feature or something like that.

My dealer said that the Motorola Razor phone works best with BMW Bluetooth. I happened to have the Razor when I bought the car and it take a minute to set my phone up to link with the car.
