Is there a visible difference between ZKW and Hella?

If I intend on upgrading to HID does it really matter whick I choose?
i.e. Is there a big difference between the chassis quality?

I've noticed zkw headlight lens kits at decent prices.
If I'm doing a TSX retrofit am I better off building up on something like this rather than gutting a complete depot/zkw headlight?

yes hella and zkws are very different but definitely go with the zkw style. with hids come from someone who has had 3 differnt types of sets. prolumen, oem, and apexcon. i ran prolumen for awhile then i switch to oem because i did a projector retro fit, then i got a 55 watt apcon kit, and that was great until i saw the prolumen 55 watt kit. so now im running the prolumen 55 watt kit the are defiantly the best quality and bang for the buck. pm me if you are interested i can probably hook u up!

and especially if u are going to do a retro fit go with depo gen IVs from habbie. high quality

there is not a visible difference between hella and zkw (minus the heela cellis), in fact they are almost identicle but the price is not, if you plan on gutting one out go for the lower cost zkw or depo, the zkw is of better overall quality and the optics are better, if you can justify spending the extra $$ you wont be disapointed, depo's will also do the job.

i find the zkw/hella projectors to be more then adequate, mated to a high quality hid kit you should have all the light you'll ever need.
