well first off my car is a 92 325i has had the auto to manual swap and now it wont start and im trying to track it down ok i have checked the yellow/black wire coming out the switch its hot when key is on and i checked the yellow and black on the main engine harness and it doesnt get any power so can someone tell me what else is between the two that could be tore up

Robert, not real up with BMW yet, but cars is cars, and all auto cars have a neutral start switch, usually on the gearlever base area. This will need to be bridged (joined wires), to enable the starter circuit to do what it should.
