Hi,
The original tires on my Z4(18" option) are the Bridgestone runflats. I will need to replace them very soon. Has anyone any suggestions or experience with other tires?
Thanks in advance,
RemZ4
i have been running the Bridgestone RE050A Pole Position and i am more than happy with them. they get really good reviews and are a direct competitor for the PS2's with very similar performance characteristics.... but the best part is that they are significantly cheaper... a win win all around. just my opinion of course... sure some will disagree, but i don't think you will be disappointed with them.

This may have been answered in other posts, but what sort of mileage are people getting on their stock tires. I do mostly city driving and wonder if Im gonna have to replace the tires before I get the oil changed HA!

I got 26K before replacement. The front can go another 3k or 4k. It's a mixed of 50/50 highway and city. Occassional run on the twisty.

do a search, plenty of info/prev. discussions
i'd vote for eagle f1's
good price, great performance (& the directional treat design does look nice :D)
i'd say away from pzero nero's they disappointed me for the price
can't go wrong with f1's, ps2's, or re50app, but the f1's are the cheapest w/similar perf (& longevity)

thanks for the input!
Rear RTFs lasted only 40KM(25K miles) and front can go another 5K.

Remember Z4s have no spare tire. Without RFT, you can not go any further if you have a flat. You now have to wait for help from friends or Roadside assistance. As I posted last week that I did not know that my left rear tire was flat because the dealer did not activate the tire monitor. I drove the car for the next 2 weeks before discovered that the tire was flat. I drove on highway at 80 to 85mph for 2 weeks (over 450 miles).
