The other day i was driving and I hit a large pot whole. a couple of days laters I started hearing a rumble noise from the rear of the car . so i had it checked out. There was a plate of medal that broke off from the floor of the car that connects it to I think the sub frame of the car well anyway they quoted it at 3500 dollars he said that this was a problem that happen with alot of 99 zs and 3 series I know this isnt real discriptive but if anyone knows what im talking bout and ca offer any advice my biggest worry is the mechanic said that the meadle that broke was really thin almost like sheet meadal and im worried that when i do fix it will just happen again . i do drive the car dont get me wrong but i dont beat on it if anyone knows what im talking about and can offer any advice i would be greatfull by the way its a 99 z3 coupe 2.8 thanks
