View Full Version : Jesse Mayor EEEEEEEeeeeeeetard sent me a pretty lol private message!
BraveUlysses 08-29-2007, 05:59 PM Since it appeared that many of you were left hanging by this guy, I noticed a local post by him on the Puget Sound BMWCCA Forum.
I called him out but nobody else seemed to care or notice, but he messaged me a couple of weeks later, so here's the awesome message he sent me!
http://img441.imageshack.us/img441/9155/eeeeeeeefy9.jpg (http://imageshack.us)
I'll post the phone number he gave me if it's okay with the moderators.
If he's paid you back, go ahead and mention it here so we can count how "many" he has repaid!
forrest 08-29-2007, 06:37 PM I havent recieved a cent yet
TCarlisle 08-30-2007, 08:42 AM Jeez. I haven't followed this very closely, but from what I recall this guy f-ed over a lot of people here, and specifically as part of a group buy (which indirectly hurts the other supporting vendors as well because it broke that trust between the members and those vendors). Unless I am mistaken, he has not came back here to state what his situation is, acknowledge his actions, or make any attempt or commitment to do right by anyone to correct his wrongdoings. And now he is on another forum crying like a baby and expecting sympathy? Does that about sum it up?
themadhatter 08-30-2007, 08:58 AM so this guy ran a huge group buy for bumpers...and never delivered?
forrest 08-30-2007, 09:55 PM so this guy ran a huge group buy for bumpers...and never delivered?
This guy ran SEVERAL GB's and didnt deliver. I got ripped off on some gauge faces
jrhaile 08-30-2007, 11:26 PM no bumper and no payback yet either...
sirius600 08-31-2007, 06:22 AM Why the hell did you block out the phone number? I think the people here who were ripped off would be deserving to know if he has changed numbers to get away from those who are trying to recoup their losses. Post it up, if it's the same one that has already been posted, then there wouldn't be a difference anyway.
BraveUlysses 08-31-2007, 10:57 AM It's not the same phone number, but I want approval from the moderators before posting it. It's a bannable offense on some forums, so I want to be in the clear first.

if he is a vendor and you're trying to get recourse without harassing him, I see no reason as to why you can't post the number to the vendor in question.
BraveUlysses 08-31-2007, 11:46 AM I don't have any claims to this guy though--all these deals happened way before I ever bought a BMW.
sirius600 08-31-2007, 12:07 PM Thats no reason not to post it. The PM is not at all privileged, and being a public forum there is little expectation of privacy. In fact you completely blew all that out the window by posting the screen shot with the LOL. Really it comes down to what you think is reasonable.
Personally i did not lose ant money to this guy, but i was very close to it. I was involved in a group buy for Hamann brake duct replicas that Jesse was hosting. Jesse was ousted while the list for this was still building, so luckily i never got to the point of sending money. If i had, i would of been out possible $100 to $200.
Still i think you should post it, just so that all the members here can let him know that we have not forgotten.
E36 328is 08-31-2007, 02:29 PM I also got ripped off and have not recieved the $250 he ows me for my bumper. What is an email address to contact him at?
BraveUlysses 08-31-2007, 02:37 PM Ah, shitbeans--I was looking through all the old posts in this subforum regarding this guy and I found a post where someone already posted the phone number I have.
Sorry guys. Here it is again, if you missed it: 206 387-8008. At least this confirms he's still using the same number.
GUINNESS 08-31-2007, 03:46 PM Yeah, I emailed him some time ago and he was actually replying and said he'd refund my money. Then he never replied to emails again. Complete loser.... empathy... right. Yeah, it's normal to have empathy for someone who ripped a bunch of people off. I don't care how much you lost in the deal, I care what I lost. I'm surprised is mortgage company or whatever the heck he runs is still afloat.
E36 328is 08-31-2007, 04:54 PM I hope his business went under with all of the other mortgage companies going bankrupt lately.
luv4myE36 08-31-2007, 05:22 PM i got my bumper without any hassle:help
supark 09-02-2007, 08:49 PM man, like I've said before about this situation sucks for everyone... I was one of the lucky few that bought from jesse right in the beginning when he was just starting his now defunct business. He seemed like a nice guy - just got in WAYYYY over his head...
good luck to you guys - ugh
tokbandit 09-03-2007, 01:50 AM I still havent got my bumper or gauges or the money for them both.....
SQ Bimmer 09-03-2007, 01:56 AM I called him at work a while ago (don't ask how I got his work number.... :shifty) and he sent me the part he owed me. Obviously it was easy for me as it was a part he was in possession of and not actual money which is is not in possession of.
Anyways, I talked to him, and he said he is going to make everything right as soon as he can afford it. I doubt he is going to starve himself in the process or pay out interest, but maybe he should consider paying everyone back with interest.
BraveUlysses 09-04-2007, 01:35 PM I doubt he is going to starve himself in the process or pay out interest, but maybe he should consider paying everyone back with interest.
He posted a thread on the Puget Sound BMWCCA Forums showing tons of pictures he took of a BMWCCA track day he did in his mildly modified 328. He's nowhere near starving and definitely didn't reply to my PM I sent back to him.
And he's living in Redmond, WA which is Microsoft's HQ, if you didn't know. Pretty pricey place to live.
TCarlisle 09-05-2007, 06:43 AM I am not affected by this, so I have no claim. I am just wondering why the folks that have been ripped off have not grouped together and sought out a lawyer to bring a lawsuit against him? It shouldn't take much money, as it seems like a no-brainer case. Once a lawsuit is filed, that is public record and may impact this guys main business. Once a judgment comes, it impacts his credit as well. Perhaps you can even get the feds involved and get criminal charges filed against him as this is fraud committed using electronic communications as a medium across state lines.
People rip people off for two reasons -- greed and because they think they can get away with it. Thus far, he has gotten away with it. Someone needs to step up and lead an effort to make sure he doesn't get away with it.
BraveUlysses 09-05-2007, 10:22 AM IIRC, there was an effort to make a class action lawsuit happen, but I don't know anything about it or it's current status.
dcvee 09-05-2007, 12:45 PM I don't know the details but it sounds like there isn't enough $$ to warrant a class-action suit. Plus, you can't get blood from a rock...even if you get the judgement.
The worse thing about this deal is that the guy not only stole peoples money he makes it sound like HE'S the victim. Amazing. If I owed people money I wouldn't be able to sleep at night. I'd have a second job just so I could pay them off.
Hey. Some people are just scum.

That number doesn't work anymore.

Has it been established that he doesn't have the money? Sounds like he still enjoys some pretty expensive hobbies. Maybe he just needs to be forced to part with the money?
Even if he still doesn't pay, at least then it screws with his credit and such. Suppose an attorney wants $2K to sue the guy. If a hundred people were screwed by this guy and each was willing to ship in $20 bucks to create legal problems for him....

It would be more than $2k...
What he needs is a bunch of people hitting him in small claims court. That will occupy a LOT of his time, and hopefully he values his time better than to play that game.
I think I will call him again and see what I can get out of him.
TCarlisle 09-11-2007, 06:15 AM I threw out that number just as an example. The point is that people rip people off because they are greedy and they think they can get away with it. They use the Internet because it allows them to do it rather anonymously, which helps them to feel less like they are ripping off human people and also gives increases the "get away with it" factor. as long as people let rip off artists get away with it, they will continue. Do something to show he didn't get away with it. We are all bashing him, etc. but he is laughing all the way to the bank.

Spotted! Female member on the rag :lol
old skool 09-25-2007, 01:49 AM This is truly unfortunate. I don't know the guy personally, but I did purchase a few items from him. He seemed decent at the time. It is possible he got ripped off by his supplier and got in over his head. I guess that is tough and he still owes the people of bimmerforums. I doubt he will ever get his money back from Asia. Who knows if he has cash right now or not. I wonder if there would be enough people ripped off for a class action lawsuit?
I hate to see a guy supposedly trying to help out the community get ripped off by the manufacturer and then fed to the wolves on the forum. At the same time, what can you expect of the people who paid, expecting their product?
Cynical 09-26-2007, 04:00 AM I'm another bumper guy who never got refunded.
But give Jesse a chance. I'm sure he'll refund our money by the time $250 is worth about 1/10 what it used to be.

I got ripped off for $250 for a bumper also, I feel like he is never going to pay us back if he hasn't already:(.
quattro santos 09-26-2007, 06:48 PM Hang in there guys...
I bought a lot from him. Bumper, rear diffuser, mirrors...
I received the bumper and rear diffuser "on time", but I received 2 drivers side mirrors. :banghead:
I sent back one mirror and still haven't received the correct mirror. This started back in December.
I talked to him over the phone several weeks back. He has some family problems going on too. Pretty severe stuff. In no way is it a valid excuse for all of this but I still understand what he is going through since I am surrounded by the same issue right now in my life. He is from what I can tell a good guy. This is just bad timing. I know it sucks to have $$$ floating around with nothing to show for it (im in college = im broke), but im sure it will all come together in time. Its probably going to be a while though... :rolleyes

Seeing as I'm the OP of this thread, who picked a fight with someone I personally don't have any beef with--I couldn't think of anything else to say, really.

Bothell can be a pricy place to live as well. Christ, I can't believe this is STILL going on. I've even met the guy in person and attended a business meet of sorts he had a while back. It talked about the plans for his company and what kind of deals he can offer to the local BMW scene and all that lovely jazz... obviously things fell through.

BMWALDO 11-17-2007, 11:03 PM Two minutes? You are skilled sir!
TCarlisle 11-18-2007, 08:56 AM Actually, that would be pretty funny if someone ripped off the bumper from his own car, and then each time he fixed it did it again, and again, and again..... until he pays everyone back or the number of bumpers stolen equals the number of people he screwed over.

Sounds pretty fair.
Turbo331is 11-22-2007, 01:15 AM He has some serious mental issues that need to be dealt with professionally. I don't know how old he is, but the longer his attention seeking behaviors go the worst they will become. He found a forum where there is no tracing back to him and he creates a profile and personality that he can't support. His whole 'uber' build thread was based on pictures of other peoples cars and other peoples parts. He posted parts that 'arrived' that were pictures I have seen in other places that he got from a search on Yahoo Images. Probably the result of abuse as a child, lack of friends or social networks growing up, or possibly even worse.
On that note, it is very possible to get the front bumper off in that amount of time. If it were me though, I'd take everything during the night and leave it on center blocks; and I mean everything. The look from his face when you are bashing his windshield in would be worth the money lost....
quattro santos 11-25-2007, 02:42 PM So for the people that are still waiting on parts...
What is there to be done? What do I do?

tokbandit 11-25-2007, 05:21 PM he still owes me for the bumper and gauges
jrhaile 11-25-2007, 05:37 PM I'm going to call my lawyer this week and look into a classaction lawsuit against him. I would need full information from everyone to make this happen though if they are interested. I'm not only going to sue for what he stole from us, but other misc bullshit which could yield some extra dough for the people who have had to put up with this for the last 8 months. The problem is, the totals must be over 5k in stolen and lost property
quattro santos 11-25-2007, 05:39 PM No clue man... he only owes me $250... what does he owe you?
Just a passenger's side M mirror. He sent me 2 driver's side mirrors so I sent back one. 7 months later (2 months ago) I talked to him on the phone and he told me he would send me the mirror the next day.
I guess i've been more lucky than others, considering I received the other $400 worth of parts I bought. But still...Its about to be a year since I payed for my mirrors.
When did you guys buy your stuff?

Sounds like a plan. Well I tried to start a thread a while back that listed all the parts that were still being waited on...but it failed.
I have $130 to add to the list.
