Looked all over the forums and it seems that no one makes any turbo or for that matter superchargers for the 8's nemore. Seen that people have said engine bay is to cramped to fit turbo and ESS makes a super you could use for the 540 with slight modifictaions. Does anyone or has anyone ever put a turbo on an 840...NOT 850 : P. Do you need to change the pistons to low compression?!??! or is it ok as is. If a turbo isnt possible what mods need to be made to fit super!!?!?!?!?

The BMW V8 is too wide to install an engine compartment turbo. That is why they supercharge the V8.

The V12 is a narrower and longer motor with more room down under but very little room for a conventional supercharger drive off the front of the motor.
