Got a mechanic Q in the south FLA area...
Is this the right place to ask for recommendations?

What kind of mechanical question?

Who do you use for car work. Mine goes usually to Brahman since was bought & it started it's work there, even though South is about 40 miles closer!

I would rather go to a independant place than the dealership because less cost, possibly less time, and feeling of knowing who is in that very private place that is under your hood.

I use Lauderdale West for easy/simple stuff ... I travel to Vista in Coconut Creek for the detailed stuff. Private stuff gets handled by Active Autowerke in Miami or any place they recommend.
