I'm seriously considering buying a competively priced 01+ e46 coupe. I'd want 330Ci, but the price is so important that I may consider anything else. I don't think I can afford anything 03+ low miles.

car must come with sport seats, preferably heated. rears must be a fold downs but I guess they (Ci's) all do.

black interior is pretty much a must also (I see what I can do about the grey). no tan please.

exterior color: silver first choice, black, dark blue

I don't care for any mods other than clear corners all around. In fact I would actually prefer the car to have unmodified OEM Sport suspension to keep it sporty yet be pothole friendly. I also like the looks of stock 5-star double spoke M wheels, so to keep the price low, no fancy rims please.

as crazy as it may sound, I have no requirements regarding the transmission. auto will work just fine.

car should have a well documented preventative maintenance performed, otherwise risk goes up and price goes down.

note: owners of the cars having any mechanical problems should not reply to this thread! being a crazy DIYer and having had e39 straight sixer for many years I experienced and solved all sorts of problems that so many bimmers have. please don't waste my time hoping that your car won't overheat or ...(put here you know what) the day I will test drive it.

location:
currently I'm in NYC for a very short while so anything fairly close would be fine.
Florida is also fine. Chicago area may also work. anything else-we may work something out as long as you're not west coast:stickoutt

thanks
Greg

PS if you know someone with a nice X5 for sale (similar years) please let me know also.

I'd love to have M car but I don't think I can afford one.

to clarify the part about the mods: I don't mind the car having some tasteful mods but the stock sport package works perfect.
